I have been an artist since I was old enough to hold a conversation and a pen. What started as an outlet for processing my own inner life quickly grew into a passion for connecting with others through our shared experiences. I have come to believe that art is a divine gift through which we are reminded that we are not alone. For this reason, I have always found it rewarding to bare my soul in the hope that my own vulnerability might resonate in the hearts and minds of others.  

 I find myself drawn to telling stories that reveal the soft, white underbelly of humanity. Each individual is a delicate balance of good, bad, and ugly - I believe that's what makes us beautiful. While the gray area is sometimes an uncomfortable place to be, I believe it is important for us to face moral ambiguity in order to better understand ourselves and others. Acknowledging and accepting one's own weakness is by its very nature a courageous act of strength.

My goal as an artist is to create spaces where such acts of strength can flourish. Through honest and fearless portrayals of the light and dark aspects of human behavior, I challenge audience members to turn inward and examine their own vulnerabilities. In a day and age where our society is so polarized, it is more important than ever to practice empathy and compassion towards ourselves, and in turn, others. Individual healing is the first step towards ascending as a collective species.
